Working Principle
The Thread Rolling Machine Model 185 is a hydraulic thread rolling machine that forms external threads by cold rolling: the rollers press against the workpiece and the metal flows plastically into the thread profile. Rolling diameter 8 – 60 mm, thread range 0.5 – 6 mm, maximum rolling pressure 200 kN. Main motor 11 kW, hydraulic power 4 kW, cooling pump 125 W. Roller bore 75 mm, roller diameter 130 – 170 mm, max. roller thickness 120 mm; spindle tilt angle ±10° and unlimited working length.
