Working Principle
The Thread Rolling Machine Model 40 is a hydraulic thread rolling machine that forms external threads by cold rolling: the rollers press against the workpiece and the metal flows plastically into the thread profile. Rolling diameter 6 – 30 mm, thread range 0.5 – 4 mm, maximum rolling pressure 80 kN. Main motor 4 kW, hydraulic power 2.2 kW, cooling pump 90 W. Roller bore 54 mm, roller diameter 130 – 170 mm, max. roller thickness 100 mm; spindle tilt angle ±10° and unlimited working length.
